Ponce Inlet is a wonderful place. I spent a couple mornings walking up the beach to the Inlet to watch the Osprey fish. This is a very dynamic place. The Osprey soar in the wind as they look in the brackish waters below where the ocean meets the fresh water of the intercoastal waterway. When they spot a fish, they dive in and grasp it with their talons. I watched this go on for seveal hours pointing my Canon 40D with 70-200L IS lens upward to capture these beautiful creatures. This one seems to be looking right at me! Double click on the picture to see its largest size!

SOME QUOTES TO PONDER

"Ask yourself whether the dream of heaven and greatness should be waiting for us in our graves
or whether it should be ours here and now and on this Earth." -- Ayn Rand
*****
"And if there were a God, I think it very unlikely that He would have such an uneasy vanity as to be offended by those who doubt His existence." -- Bertrand Russell
*****
"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?" -- Epicurus
